Door Closer Functions:
CA5501: 5 lb. Opening force to size 6. Adjustable spring power with fully adjustable back-check controlled by a separate regulating valve, adjustable after installation.
CA5502: 5 lb. Opening force to size 6. Adjustable spring power with delayed closing action controlled by a separate regulating valve, adjustable after installation.
Dual Speed Control Valves: Closing and latching speeds controlled by separate regulating valves, adjustable after installation.
Universal application. Non-handed for standard, top jamb, or parallel arm installation.
Rack and pinion mechanism contained in a high tensile precision die cast aluminum housing.
Stable hydraulic door check fluid for any climatic operation and provides constant lubrication.
Furnished with regular arm. Hold-open arms are optional. Hold-open arms are adjustable from 100° to 180° of door opening.
Series CA5500 furnished with a high impact molded PVC dress cover (door closer body casting can be used with out the dress cover, permitting installation on most modern glass and aluminum doors without adapters). Parallel bracket included.
Optional slim-line PVC dress cover (Norton 8300 type) and pinion cap are available.
